Richard James Kirk

Richard James Kirk, 60 of Crowley, Colorado passed away on January 24, 2010 in Crowley. We, as his family are now finally able to lay him to rest. Funeral service will be held at Ordway Baptist Church, 217 W 3rd St, Ordway, CO on January 10, 2017 at 11AM with Reverend Don Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Ordway. Richard was born in Crowley, Colorado to Jesse and Elsie Kirk on March 6th, 1949. After obtaining a college degree in Agriculture, he farmed with his parents and brother until his retirement. He was a kind hearted, cheerful person to all who knew and loved him. Richard is survived by Nephews Brian Kirk (Dianne) of Pueblo West, CO, Michael Bronner (Marcy) of Marietta, GA. Nieces Darlene Blaher (John) of Pueblo,CO, Sharon Bronner of Amarillo, Texas, Christy Cole (Richard) of Las Cruces, NM, Melanie Fienga (Bill) of Polk City. FL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, friends and family. He is preceded in death by his father Jesse, mother Elsie, brothers Robert, Gean and William, Sisters Joan and Lydia. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ford-Ustick Funeral Home.
