Richard "Ricky" James Rivera, 28, of Littleton, CO, passed away Friday, February 3rd, peacefully, at Saint Anthony Hospital, Lakewood, CO. Ricky was born in Denver, CO on July 4, 1988, a son of Jeri Renea (Trujillo) Vargas and the late Roger Jose Rivera. Ricky enjoyed his life with family and friends. He worked in food service and enjoyed serving and helping others. He also enjoyed snow boarding, skate boarding and music. He is survived by his mother Jeri and step-father Tom Vargas of Littleton, CO; Sister Catherine (Joseph ) Rivera-Martinez Sister Christian Alicia Rivera Sister Selena (Aaron) Rivera-Martinez Brother Roger (Danielle) Rivera, Jr. Step-brother Larry Freyta; Step-sister Alexis Mendoza. He is also survived by Nephews: Joseph & Jayden Martinez and Liam Rivera; Nieces: Aaliyah, Audrina and Allie Martinez and Lucy Rivera. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 9th at Community Presbyterian Church in Rocky Ford, CO with Pastor Virgil Ortega officiating. There will be no viewing as cremation has been effected. Inurnment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Rocky Ford, CO. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ford-Ustick Funeral Home.
