Robert "Bob" Dale Johnson

December 26, 1927 - April 19, 2015

Robert Dale (Bob) Johnson, 87, of Manzanola, CO, passed away Sunday, April 19th, while in the company of family members, at his residence. Robert was born in North Platte, NE on December 26, 1927, a son of the late Agnes Faye (Dale) and Emery Lloyd Johnson. He attended school in Nebraska. He was the widower of Dianne A. (Maier) Johnson. On December 14, 1967, they were married in Golden, CO. He served in the U.S. Army as a Sgt in WWII. He worked as a Farmer and previously in construction for Al Cohen Construction Co. for 35 years. He is survived by; Daughter Kay Johnson, of Rocky Ford, CO; Beloved Grandson Chance Rallis, of Manzanola, CO; Brother Jere, husband of Cathy Johnson, of Utopia, TX; Several other relatives and family members. Bob was preceded in death by his wife; Dianne Johnson; his parents, brother: Ed and sister-in-law Agnes Johnson of Golden, CO; sister: Doris Ricter of Rocky Ford; brother; Harold and sister-in-law Diana of Rocky Ford. There will be no services. There will be no viewing as cremation has been effected. Inurnment will be private at a later time. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford-Ustick Funeral Home.
