Rocky Gene Mosher, 64, of Rocky Ford, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo.

Memorial services were held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Valley Community Church with Pastor Dick Jones officiating.

Rocky was born on November 10, 1956, to Herbert George and Ida Jean (Collins) Mosher in Fruita, CO. He graduated from Cheraw High School. Rocky married Sally Schlegel on June 10 th in Rocky Ford. They made their home in Westcliffe until 1990 and moved to the Vail Valley and currently reside in Holbrook Community in the Arkansas Valley. Rocky worked in agriculture all of his life and loved every aspect of it up until the time of his death.

He loved the mountains, fishing, hunting and the outdoors. He loved his faithful dogs and horses. Rocky was very outgoing and enjoyed visiting and laughing with his friends.

Rocky served on numerous boards in the area.

He is survived by his wife, Sally Mosher of Rocky Ford; daughter, Kayla (Angel) Resendes of Amarillo, TX; brothers, Wayne (Dwaina) Mosher of Amarillo, TX, Chris (Denise) Mosher of Highlands Ranch, CO; brother-in-law, Marvin (Tam) Schlegel of La Juna, CO; sisters-in-law, Christine (Mike) Laurent and Lisa (Bart) Chaney; nieces and nephews, Shawna (Justin) Madill, Jody (Billy) Thompson, Ryan (Kara) Mosher, Morgan (Dustin) Shedrick, Garrett (Emily) Schlegel, Brandon and Joshua Mosher, Tyler (Toni), Wade and Cody Laurent, Heather and Collin Chaney; and mother-in-law, Erlene Schlegel.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Tammy Schlegel; brother, Randy Mosher; and father-in-law, Salty Schlegel.
