Roy Douglas Headding, 66, of Canon City, CO, passed away Tuesday, January 1st, at his residence.

Roy was born in Lamar, CO on May 5, 1952, a son of the late Claudia Jessica (Seals) and Henry Edward Headding.

Roy graduated from Lamar High School in 1972. He then attended Lamar JUCO and Adams State College in Alamosa, CO, before serving in the U.S. Army being stationed in Korea.

After serving in the military he moved back to Lamar for a while then moved to Canon City, CO in the mid 70's after his father retired and moved there.

He is survived by: Brother Jim Headding, of Rocky Ford, CO; Niece Shari, wife of  Bo Kerr, of Buena Vista, CO; Niece Judi, wife of  Andy Morrill, of Warrensburg, Missouri.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers: Merle & Jack Headding.

Graveside Services will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 22nd at the Fairmount Cemetery in Lamar, CO.
