Rozan Marie Ensor

Rozan Marie Ensor, 68, of Rocky Ford died Sunday, August 16, 2009 at Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center in La Junta, CO following her long battle with cancer. Rozan was born in Spearville, KS on October 16, 1940, the daughter of the late Herman and M. Jeanette (Gleason) Sanko. Rozan was the wife of Pastor Jim Ensor of Rocky Ford who preceded her in death in 2001. In addition to raising their four children while sharing pastoral duties with her husband, Rozan served the Rocky Ford community for over twenty years, first as a school bus driver and then as a teacher. She received her BA degree with honors from Regis University in Denver in 1999. Rozan is survived by her four children and their families: Sharla Ensor and partner Nick Karas of Denver, CO; Mike and Sherrie (Ensor) Dunn and their children Patrick and Tierney of Los Angeles, CA; Justin and Valerie Ensor of Rocky Ford and their children Nicole Ensor of Denver, CO, Marissa Nowak of Tampa, FL, and Kim Evans of Las Cruces, NM; and Del and Robyn Ensor of Rocky Ford and their children Joshua and Paige Ensor of Lynn Haven, FL, Andrea Ensor of Denver, CO, and Joshua Rocha and Kinsie Ensor of Rocky Ford. Rozan is also survived by one brother and five sisters and their families: Tom and Mary Sanko of Dodge City, KS; Tom and Constance (Sanko) Heiland of Jamestown, MO; Kathryn (Sanko) Osborn of Hooker, OK; Phillip and Barbara (Sanko) Hardy of Parker, CO; Leroy and Susie (Sanko) Lovato of Ordway, CO; and Jim and Ruth (Sanko) Lenz of Parker, CO. Graveside Service will be at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Rocky Ford, CO, at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 22, with Pastor Feliciano Garcia officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 PM at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Rocky Ford, CO.
