Ruth Terrones, 91, of Crowley, CO, passed away Friday, September 11th, at Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center, La Junta, Otero County.

Ruth was born in Manzanola, CO on July 21, 1929, a daughter of the late Antonia (Renteria) and Aurelio Melendez.

She was the widow of Camilo Terrones.

She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Ordway, CO.

Ruth enjoyed the Sunday family dinners and all of the holidays spent with family. She was a women of strong faith in the Lord and she enjoyed reciting the Rosary. Ruth loved her family and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by: Son Guadalupe Terrones, of Ordway, CO; Son Antonio Terrones, of Pueblo, CO; Daughter Monica (Donald Janssen) Terrones, of Crowley, CO.

She is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Lisa Terrones, Anthony Terrones, Angelo (Rosario) Lopez, Stephanie Janssen, Stephen (Chamonix) Janssen, Jarrod (Angelina) Janssen, Stefan Terrones, Benjamin Martinez, Gabrielle Martinez; 18 great-grandchildren.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Camilo; son: Ramon Terrones; daughters: Maria Lopez, Felicia Martinez; daughter-in-law: Betty Terrones

A Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 20th at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home in Rocky Ford, CO. A Rosary Service will be recited at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 21st with A Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 AM both at the St. Peter's Catholic Church in Ordway, CO with Fr. Paul Ekeh officiating. Interment will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Ordway, CO. Memorial funds can be sent to the St. Peter's Catholic Church; 904 Main; Ordway, CO 81063.
