Scott Lee (Scooter) Horne, 48, of Olney Springs, CO, passed away Wednesday, July 25th, unexpectedly at his residence.

Scott was born in McHenry, IL on June 26, 1970, a son of Winifred (Vanderhorst) Horne, of Johnsburg, IL and the late Robert John Horne.

He worked as a Plumber at A+ Flush Rite McHenry, IL. He enjoyed remodeling, landscaping, plumbing, sewer and septic repair, fishing, going to the beach, antiquing and old cars. Spending time with family, friends and especially his grandkids.

Scott is survived by:

two daughters, Miranda Horne, of Johnsburg, IL;

Taylor Horne, of Ingleside, IL;

a son, Nicholas Horne, of Olney Springs, CO;

fiancé, Laurie Bostic of the home;

two step sons Talin Bostic, of Spring Grove, IL; Travis Bostic, of London, KY;

two sisters, Deborah (Eugene) Combs, of Cresco, IA; Tammy (Rodney, Sr) Waits, of Johnsburg, IL;

two brothers, Bobby (Rose) Horne, of IL; Tim (Lisa) Horne, of Volo, IL;

He is also survived by 8 grandchildren: Samantha Horne, Axle Motyka, Ahlonna Rosa, Ava Pienschke, Novalee Caley, Blaize Horne, Baileigh Horne, Ryker Caley

He was preceded in death by his father; 2 brothers: Billy & Tommy Horne.

Services will be held at a later time in Illinois.
