Shirley Ann Burrell, 91, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Wednesday, November 24th, at her residence.

Shirley was born in Rocky Ford, CO on October 20, 1930, a daughter of the late Cora Anna Sophia (Drescher) and Orville Orlando McClain. She graduated from Manzanola High School and CSU.

She was the wife of William  Burrell, Sr., they were married on September 4, 1949 in Manzanola, CO.

She worked as a sales clerk for Burrell Seeds for several years.

Shirley was a member of the Presbyterian Church where she served on the Women's Group, the Pioneer Hospital Auxiliary and the Entertainment Committee for the Herman Lakes.

She is survived by:

Son Bill, Jr., husband of  Evelyn Burrell, of Rocky Ford, CO;

Son Kent, husband of  Earlene Burrell, of Kirtland, NM;

Son Rick, husband of  Jenine Burrell, of Dacona, CO.

She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 10 great - grandchildren; 3 great - great - grandchildren

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and siblings. Her husband Bill Burrell Sr also passed away 2 days after Shirley on November 26, 2021. And in April of 2022, their daughter-in-law Earlene Burrell joined them in heaven.
