Stephen "Steve" F. Richardson

Stephen "Steve" F. Richardson age 66 of Rocky Ford, died July 11, 2015. He was born May 6, 1949, in Denver to Lin Doyle Richardson, Sr. and Dorothy Nadine (Beeman) Richardson On January 29, 1966 he married Nicki Ann (Trentine) Richardson and lived in Denver, with their son Darren Stephen Richardson He worked as an automotive service adviser/manager/dispatcher most of his life since 1966. He as always a devoted NASCAR racing fan. He was a master at fixing small engines, especially lawn mowers, and was known as "Mr. Fix-It" Lawn Mower Repair. He enjoyed helping neighbors by plowing driveways and walkways after snowstorms and doing other kindness. Steve was an animal lover, enjoying his pets, dogs and cats, and wild-life, especially feeding birds and watching the antics of the squirrels that frequented the home's feeders. Steve was an avid TV viewer, loving comedy, old programs from the fifties and earlier, and current action/crime solving shows. He loved music from the fifties and sixties and vintage cars. He was well liked by neighbors and all who knew him. Steve married Hannah "Gwen" Richardson on May 8, 2003. Steve is survived by his son Darren Stephen (Lori) Richardson, grand-daughters Paige and Allyson Richardson and brothers Lin Doyle (Gayle) Richardson, Jr. and Harry Dennis (Marilyn) Richardson, all of Denver. His is preceded in death by his wife Gwen and his father and mother. Service to be held at a later date
