Steven Randall Basinger, 69, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on April 15, 2023. Steven was born on January 10, 1954 in Norman, Oklahoma to the late Albert Basinger who preceded him in death and Phoebe Ann Mueller who survives. On April 17, 2016, he married the love of his life, Joyce Basinger who survives.

Steven was a member of New Hope Church in Rocky Ford. He enjoyed bird watching, creating artwork, and taking photos. He was also a devout Christian and loved reading the Bible and attending church. Steven was a selfless person who loved his family and friends and would help anyone in need.

Survivors include his mother, Phoebe Ann Mueller (Fort Smith, Arkansas), his wife, Joyce Basinger, one son, Matthew Basinger, and four brothers, Mark Basinger (Fort Smith, Arkansas), Daniel Wilcox (Lexington, South Carolina), John Basinger (Montclair, New Jersey) and Joe Basinger (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma). Steven was preceded in death by his father, Albert Basinger.
