Susanne Rae Allen, 78, of Fairplay, CO, passed away Monday, December 20th, at Summit Medical Center, Frisco, Summit County.

Susanne was born in Hastings, NE on November 7, 1943, a daughter of the late Bernedis Lucile (Vastine) and Donald Hubert Davis.

She graduated from Grand Junction High School.

She was the wife of Jack Richard Allen, they were married on August 1, 1970 in Grand Junction, CO.

She worked for Allen Drilling for 51 years.

She is survived by: Husband Jack of Fairplay, CO; Son Brian (Diana) Allen, of Elizabeth, CO; Daughter Kim (Allan) Pederson, of Fairplay, CO.

She is also survived by Grandchildren: Brent Allen, Brittany Allen, Chelsea Allen & Brianna (Cody) Crowder; Great - Grandchildren: Brody & Jaxon Crowder and Beau Higgins

Susanne was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Jaqueline "Jackie" Wallace; brother: Donald "Donnie" Davis

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 4th at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home in Rocky Ford, CO. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Rocky Ford, CO.
