Mr. Thomas Mathew (Tom) Heil, 42, of Rocky Ford passed away on Saturday, July 13th, 2013 peacefully at Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center, La Junta, CO. Thomas was born in Rocky Ford, CO on February 8, 1971, the son of John Richard and Genevieve (Rawlins) Heil. He graduated from Rocky Ford High School and attended Kansas Weselyn. He was a member of Community Presbyterian Church in Rocky Ford, CO and played Santa Claus this past year. He is survived by His parents, John and Genevieve of the home; Step Daughter Ashley Medina of Colorado Springs, CO; Granddaughter Jenna Medina of Pueblo, CO; Grandson Anthoni Vick of Rocky Ford, CO; Sister Debbie wife of Mike Walter of Olney Springs, CO; Niece Tennille wife of Mark Chicarelli of Frederick, CO; Nephew Nolan husband of Annie Walter of Manzanola, CO; Niece Torie Walter of La Junta, CO; Uncle Richard Nace of La Junta; He is also survived by numerous great-nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Larry & John Heil; granddaughter: Alize Vick, grandparents: Scott & Ruth Heil, William & Hannah Nace. To honor the life of Tom, funeral services will be at the Community Presbyterian Church, Rocky Ford, CO, at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 19th, with Rev. Steve Culver officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday 1-5 PM at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery Rocky Ford, CO.
