Mr. Antonio Margos (Tony) Aragon, 63, of Rocky Ford died Wednesday, December 29th, 2010 while in the company of family members at Pueblo, CO. Tony was born in Pueblo, CO on October 24, 1947, the son of the Elisa (Vigil) and Fernando Aragon, Sr. He graduated from Centennial High School in Pueblo, CO. Where he was a state cross country champ and was inducted to the high school Hall of Fame. He was the husband of Dolores Aragon. They were married on Sept. 3, 1994 in Crowley, CO. She survives. He retired from the Shipping Department at Caterpillar in Denver, CO. He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford. He was a Past Exhalted Ruler of the Rocky Ford ELKS Lodge #1147 and was currently the Treasurer. He was also a member of the United Auto Workers union. He is survived by His father; Fernando Aragon, Sr. of Pueblo, CO; Wife: Dolores Aragon of Rocky Ford, CO; Son Antonio Aragon, Jr. and wife Maribel of Fort Worth, TX; Daughter Athena LaPera wife of Jimmy Shealy of Thornton, CO; Son Karl husband of Charlotte Martinez of Rocky Ford, CO; Son Kenny Martinez of Rocky Ford, CO; Sister Rebecca Aragon of Pueblo, CO; Sister Gloria Chavez of Pueblo, CO; Sister Carolina Aragon of Pueblo, CO; Sister Victoria wife of Michael Seamon of Windsor, CO; Sister Joann wife of Phillip Maldonado of Pueblo, CO; Brother Fernando Aragon, Jr. and wife Becky of Colorado Springs, CO; Brother Orlando husband of Bonnie Aragon of Pueblo, CO; Brother Leandro Aragon of Denver, CO; Granddaughter Victoria LaPera of Thornton, CO; Grandson Eddie LaPera of Thornton, CO; Granddaughter Malerie Jackson of Fort Worth, TX; Grandson Gabriel Aragon of Fort Worth, TX; Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins & Friends He was preceded in death by his mother. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Peters Catholic Church, Rocky Ford, at 12:30 PM on Monday, January 3rd. Visitation will be from 11 AM until service time. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Rocky Ford. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford-Ustick Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to www.fordustick.com.
