Mrs. Vada Mae Baptist, 84, of Craig, CO died on Sunday, October 9th, 2011. Vada was born in Mt. Sterling, IL on June 14, 1927, the daughter of the late Emmett and Fannie (Clark) Wolfmeyer. She was the widow of James Baptist. They were married on Feb. 24, 1946 in Mt. Sterling, IL. She is survived by: Son John husband of Sharon Baptist Son James D. husband of Linda Baptist She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren; 16 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great-Grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son: Steve. Graveside Services will be at the Hillcrest Cemetery, Rocky Ford, CO, at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 15th, with Pastor John Dell officiating. There will be no viewing as cremation has been effected. Inurnment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Rocky Ford, CO. Local Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford-Ustick Funeral Home.
