Vaughn Thomas Ingersoll of Ordway passed away at his home at the age of 71. Vaughn was born in Denver to Herbert and Betty Ingersoll. Growing up Vaughn always wanted to be a truck driver, he earned his CDL at the age of 17. When he joined the Army he became a Large Amphibious Vehicle Driver, driving across both land and water. He was in Vietnam at the end of the war. When he returned home he was driving trucks again. He loved his Kenworth, Vaughn was a 5 million mile trucker. He trained hundreds of people how to drive a truck throughout his career. Vaughn was also an avid dog rescuer for the past 10 years. He kept the unhousable great danes at his house and trained them and just let them be. He liked his dog’s more than he did people.

Vaughn is survived by his 1 son Michael (Lilly Wells) Ingersoll of Fowler, brother Stephen Ingersoll of Arvada, 1 grandson: Thomas Ingersoll as well as 7 other step-grandchildren, 1 great-grandson.
