Vaughn Gwendolyn Rosenbeck

Mrs. Vaughn Gwendolyn Rosenbek, 95, of Ordway died Sunday, August 16th, 2009 peacefully at her residence. Vaughn was born in Sugar City, Co on December 3, 1913, the daughter of the late Clyde Enos and Myma (Biehler) Mathews. She graduated from Sugar City High School as Valedictorian. She worked as a Legal Secretary at Larry Fenton Law Office Ordway, CO., for 43 years. Retiring in 1985. She was a member of Ordway United Methodist Church Ordway, CO 81063. She is survived by; Son Jay Rosenbek husband of Debra Shimon of Gainesville, FL; Sister Shirley Wilcoxen of Missouri; Sister Imogene Ruland of Grand Junction, CO. Granddaughter Wendy Rosenbek of Tennessee; Great-Grandchild Bryce Patrick Taylor of Tennessee; Niece Sandra Rozman of Castle Rock, CO; Numerous Nieces & Nephews She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters: Helen Button & Betty Jo Mathews; a brother: Duane Mathews Memorial Services will be at the Ordway United Methodist Church, Ordway, CO, at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 19th, with De Etta Gottel officiating. There will be no viewing as cremation has been effected. Inurnment will be private at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Arkansas Valley Hospice 118 W. 4th La Junta, CO 81050 or Ordway UMC; 4th & Main; Ordway, CO 81063.
