Mrs. Velma Ellen Ham, 98, of Rocky Ford died on Sunday, December 7th, 2008 peacefully at Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center-Nursing Center East, La Junta, CO. Velma was born in Winchester, TN on February 2, 1910, the daughter of the late Thomas Henry and Martha Elizabeth (Miller) McCann. She was the widow of Frank I Ham. She was a Homemaker She is survived by: Son Dale husband of Diana Ham of Rocky Ford, CO; Son Kenneth Ham of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter Billie Joy wife of Al Robison of Helendale, CA; Grandson Ken Ham, Jr. of Whitefield, CO; Grandson Robert husband of Toni Pinkerton of Newark, CA; Sister Wanda Mayhew of Palm Springs, CA; Sister-in-law Doris McCann of Las Vegas, NV; Sister-in-law Nicky McCann of Oakdale, CA; Grandchildren 11 Great-Grandchildren 23 Great-Great Grandchildren 6 She was preceded in death by 7 brothers and 3 sisters Memorial Services will be in the Bristol Cemetery, Bristol, CO, at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 13th, 2008. There will be no viewing as cremation has been effected. Inurnment will be in the Bristol Cemetery in Bristol, CO. Family request donations in Velma's name to the donor's choice.
