Wendy Kari Schneider, 49, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Saturday, December 29th, at Parkview Medical Center, Pueblo.
Wendy was born in La Junta, CO on May 31, 1969, a daughter of Helen Louise (Harper) and Donald Max McClure.
She graduated from La Junta High School in 1987 then she received her Flight Attendant Certificate. She also received her C.N.A. Certificate.
She was the wife of Justin Schneider, they were married July 1, 2009 in Rocky Ford.
She attended the First Southern Baptist Church in La Junta, CO.
Wendy worked for Social Services in the Child Support Department for ABBA Eye Care and most recently with her husband Justin at Justin's Paving.
Wendy was a very loving mother, wife, daughter and friend. She could often be found in her garden, singing softly as she tended to her beautiful flowers and vegetables. She also loved fishing and being outdoors in nature. She had a passion for life and love, it was evident in everything she did. She was always excited to go see new places and experience new things. Wendy was a kind soul that always took care of everyone and everything before herself. When she helped someone, you could see how happy it genuinely made her. She was rarely to be seen without a smile on her beautiful face. She is profoundly missed but we all can take comfort in the fact that part of her will always live on in us.
She is survived by Her parents; Don and Helen McClure of La Junta;
Husband Justin Schneider of Rocky Ford, CO;
Son Sheridan (Beth) Howe, of La Junta, CO;
Daughter Rylea Howe, of Colorado Springs, CO;
Step Son Peyton Schneider, of Spearville, KS;
Step Son Kyle Schneider, of Spearville, KS;
Granddaughter Macy Howe, of La Junta, CO;
Grandson Owen Howe, of La Junta, CO.
She is also survived by Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, cousins and friends.
Wendy was preceded in death by a sister: Dealey Frazier and a brother: Clay McClure.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 5th at First Southern Baptist Church in La Junta, CO with Pastor Brandon Mills officiating. Inurnment will be private at a later time.
