Dub, 90, passed away peacefully on Jan 20, 2020 at the Pioneer Nursing Home in Rocky Ford, CO.

He was born on Feb 8, 1929 in Oklahoma. In his early career he worked with his father buying & selling cattle. He met & married Bette Jo Davis (Barnes) in 1949. They had a son, Willard Arnold Couch Jr and two daughters Judith Jill Couch & Jamie L. Matthews. Dub & Bette moved from Tulsa, OK to KS then to CO. He continued buying & selling cattle which was his passion. He then settled in the quint town of Swink and married Donna Ann Hadley and she had a daughter Sue who he considered a daughter, and together they traveled across the central states. Later he married Charlene Dickerson and they lived in Rocky Ford. After retirement he became involved with many clubs and organizations. Some of these included international rotary, historical society, Arkansas valley fair board, The Rocky Ford Elks Lodge, Civic Club, Rocky Ford Golf Club, enjoyed teaching commodities and an Ag business class for OJC, he also served on the board of the directors of the Santa Fe Trail Association. He loved to golf and you could see him driving around Rocky Ford any time of the day. He always kept his status as a registered bonded livestock dealer/buyer. He traveled extensively and especially enjoyed his time in Thailand where he visited the golden triangle. He is proceeded in death by his parents Albert David Couch and Lorene Jane Duncan. He is survived by his 3 children, 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and many beloved family and friends.

Memorial Services will be on Sunday, Jan 26, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Ford - Ustick Funeral Home, 300 N 8th St., Rocky Ford, CO 81067.
