William "Bill" Burrell, Sr., 94, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Friday, November 26th, at his residence.

Bill was born in Rocky Ford, CO on October 13, 1927, a son of the late Amelia Antonia (Brosh) and James Harold Burrell.

He graduated from Rocky Ford High School and CSU.

He was the widower of Shirley Ann (McClain) Burrell, they were married on September 4, 1949 in Manzanola, CO.

He owned and operated the DV Burrell Seed Company.

He was a member of Community Presbyterian Church in Rocky Ford, CO. He was a life member of the Rocky Ford ELKS Lodge #1147, Past President of the Colorado Seedomen, member of the Toastmaster's, Knight's of Columbus, and the Hermit Lake Fish Committee.

He is survived by:

Son Bill, Jr., husband of Evelyn Burrell, of Rocky Ford, CO;

Son Kent, husband of Earlene Burrell, of Kirtland, NM;

Son Rick, husband of Jenine Burrell, of Dacono, CO.

He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 10 great - grandchildren; 3 great - great - grandchildren

Bill was preceded in death by his wife Shirley on November 24, 2021. He was also preceded in death by his parents and siblings. And in April, 2022, his daughter-in-law Earlene Burrell joined him and Shirley in heaven.
