William John (Bill) Donnell, II, 68, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Wednesday, January 8th, at his residence.

William was born in Denver, CO on December 21, 1951, a son of the late Lorna Ann (Malott) and William John Donnell.

He graduated from Rocky Ford High School in 1969 and from CSU Pueblo and graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor's Degree in Business.

He was the husband of Kim Rena (Arntt) Donnell.

Bill was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, friend, husband, uncle and an all around amazing guy. He lived his life to the fullest and was a one of a kind person. He had the gift to gab and would talk to anyone he met along the way. Growing up he loved to hang out at Timpas Creek. He worked as a very successful salesman for many years. During his career he was able to travel the world for many business trips and he loved all the different experiences he gained from his travel. He made friends and memories at every different spot that he visited.

In his spare time he enjoyed playing cribbage, dominos, chess and gambling. He was an avid fan of wrestling, which he did in high school, and he followed the Rocky Ford High School wrestling program. He lived on his own unique ranch that he loving called "El Rancheto Loco" and it brought him great joy taking care of his animals.

He is survived by his wife Kim Donnell; Son William Donnell, III, of Canon City, CO; Daughter Megan Donnell, of Alma, MI; Son Patrick Donnell, of Alma, MI; Son Cory Donnell, of Alma, MI; Daughter Lyndssi Donnell, of La Junta, CO.

He is also survived by 1 grandchild: Cory Donnell, Jr.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Jim Donnell

Public Viewing will be held 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Wednesday, January 15th at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home in Rocky Ford, CO. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 16th at First Christian Church in Rocky Ford, CO with Pastor John Dell officiating.
