Yamako Yagami

Yamako Yagami, 95, of Denver, CO, passed away Tuesday, January 12th, at Serenity House , Arapahoe County. Yamako was born in Sherwood, Oregon on May 31, 1920, a daughter of the late Yae (Goto) and Shuichi Murakami. She worked as a Farmer and as a teacher's aide for the Swink School System retiring in 1988 from the Swink School System. She was a member of Tri-State Buddhist Church in Denver, CO.. Yamako was a member of the PERA of Colorado and the Swink Senior Center. She enjoyed fishing as a time for relaxation and visiting with family and friends. She is survived by; Daughter Mitzi, wife of Jerry Simmons, of Box Elder, SD; Daughter Toni Yamagi wife of Lance Acker, of Denver, CO. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, 1:00 PM at the Ford-Ustick Funeral Home in Rocky Ford, CO. Visitation will be on Tuesday, from 9:00 AM until service time at the Ford-Ustick Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Valley View Cemetery in Rocky Ford, CO. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford-Ustick Ford Funeral Home. Condolences will be sent to www.fordustick.com.
